Frequently asked questions

What is Chinese herbal tea?

Chinese herbal tea is a blend of whole roots, seeds, flowers and fruits used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Instead of a single tea leaf, each LunarSip formula combines 5–9 complementary botanicals, such as ginseng, goji, red date or chrysanthemum, chosen to work together as a gentle daily ritual.

Are LunarSip teas caffeine-free?

Almost all of our blends are 100% caffeine-free, so you can enjoy them in the afternoon or before bed. The one exception is Slimming Lotus Leaf Tea, which contains a small amount of oolong tea. Look for the Caffeine-Free label on each tea.

How do I choose the right herbal tea for me?

Start with what you want to support: steady energy, restful sleep, digestive comfort, or skin and hair. Use the filters above to narrow it down, and read each tea’s ingredients and suitability notes on its product page.

How often should I drink herbal tea?

Most people enjoy 1–2 cups a day. Herbal teas work best as a consistent daily routine rather than a quick fix. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or managing a health condition, please check with your healthcare provider first.
